Foreign students of VSMU took an active part in the VI International scientific and practical conference of foreign students and undergraduates "Foreign students - to Belarusian science", hosted by the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine" and received worthy awards.
Hassan Nazimul, a third-year student of the Overseas Students Training Faculty (specialty "General Medicine"), made a presentation "The use of medicinal plants for the treatment of tuberculosis in Bangladesh", and student Eva Farzana Akther delivered a report "Dengue fever in Bangladesh and its treatment by medicinal plants "(scientific supervisor Z.S. Kuntsevich, Department of General, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry). Their reports were awarded 1st degree diplomas.
The conference was also attended by students of the Overseas Students Training Faculty (specialty "General Medicine") Abou Assi Weam and Shaito Hanaa (Lebanon). Their report "Experience of two-components anesthesia on laboratory animals during an acute experiment" (scientific supervisor A.V. Ivanov, Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy) was awarded a III degree diploma.
