International cooperation. VSMU and Bashkir State Medical University strengthen partnership

vsmu Bashkir 01On April 11, 2025, a significant meeting aimed at development of international cooperation took place in VSMU. The First Vice-Rector Alina Shchupakova held talks with Prof. Leila Akhmadeeva – the doctor of the highest qualification category, Master of Clinical Psychology of Bashkir State Medical University. The guest was also welcomed by Professor Tatiana Olenskaya, the Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation with a course of FAT and PR, and Anna Pchelintseva, the Head of the International Relations Department.

The university from Ufa is a long-standing partner of our university, and the new meeting allowed the parties to bring the interaction to a higher level.

During the dialog the participants discussed the prospects of scientific and educational cooperation. The plans include the organization of joint research, publications in international journals, as well as scientific conferences and seminars with the participation of experts from both universities. Special attention was paid to the introduction of innovative methods in clinical practice and educational programs.

“Expansion of partnership with Bashkir State Medical University opens new horizons for our students and scientists, - noted the First Vice-rector of VSMU. - Academic mobility not only enriches the educational process, but also contributes to the formation of specialists ready to work in an international format. VSMU has all possibilities and conditions for development of cooperation both in the field of education, international exchange, and in the sphere of joint scientific and educational projects, joint work of laboratories of professional skills and scientific schools of our universities”.

Professor Leila Akhmadeeva emphasized the importance of joining efforts:

“Modern challenges in medicine require an interdisciplinary approach and cross-cultural dialog. I am sure that our joint initiatives will strengthen the scientific potential of both universities and improve the quality of training”.
