April 7, 2025, the students and employees of VSMU as a part of the delegation of Vitebsk region visited the Palace of the Republic where they took part in the concert-requiem ‘Every Third’.

The concert-requiem ‘Every Third’ is a tribute to all victims and heroes of the Great Patriotic War, a story about destinies of ordinary people, a synthesis of new songs about war and victory and unique shots of chronicles and historical facts.

The VSMU students Kira Shuverova and Daria Belyaeva shared their impressions of the concert:

- The organisers have approached the format and repertoire very creatively. Every performance gives me goosebumps, - Kira shares her emotions. - Of course, this is also because the theme of war is close to everyone. Each family has its own story of heroism, woven into the common national feat. The values of modern society cannot be complete without preserving historical memory and truth.

- And only by remembering the past will we build a happy future," adds Daria.
