On March 31, 2025, on the basis of VSMU the international educational seminar “Logistics: modern approaches and solutions” was held.

Denis Lits, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work of VSMU, addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech and noted the importance and timeliness of the discussed topic.

The Representatives of scientific and educational cluster “Medicine and Pharmacy - innovative projects” took part in the international seminar: E. Polotskaya Polotsk State University, Vitebsk State Technological University, St. Petersburg State Chemical and Pharmaceutical University, Vitebsk “Pharmacia”, “VitVar”, as well as A.P. Nelyubin Institute of Pharmacy (Sechenov University), “BelPharmacia”, Grodno and Brest “Pharmacia”, “Rubicon”, ‘Yassa’, “Iskamed”.

During the seminar the issues of supply chain management improvement, hospital, reverse and warehouse logistics development, warehouse management system capabilities for inventory logistics, use of addressable storage at the manufacturer's warehouse were discussed. A number of reports were devoted to the requirements for transportation of medicines, monitoring of microclimate conditions during their transportation and storage, organization of goods delivery from pharmacy warehouse to pharmacies, prospects of drone application in logistics.

The seminar participants noted their relevance, significance, educational and practical orientation and, in general, the importance and usefulness of the event.
