From March 24 to March 30, 2025, “Zero Injury Week” was held in VSMU on the theme “Personal Caution: can we just try?”.

Within the framework of the event the following activities were carried out by the employees of the sector of labor protection and safety together with the trade union committee of VSMU employees:

• - information about the Zero Traumatism Week was posted on the university website;
• - a meeting was held with the heads of dormitories and building commandants on personal caution when carrying out works to improve the territories, planned window washing, Saturday clean-up days;
• - monitoring was carried out in structural units, conversations with employees to form a responsible attitude of each employee to personal safety and health, as well as to the safety of others in the process of performing the following activities
• • monitoring of timely labor protection briefings, training of employees in safe techniques and methods of landscaping on clean-up days, and other work not related to direct duties in the profession of a worker or an employee's position; compliance by employees with the requirements of labor protection instructions when performing work on equipment;
• • control over the safe performance of work, the use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and the health status of employees sent to clean and beautify the university grounds has been organized.
