In March the university employees - members of the trade union could buy tickets with 50% discount for any performances of the National Academic Drama Theater named after J. Kolas. Kolas National Academic Drama Theater, as well as for touring performances.

This time our city was visited by theater and cinema artists (Moscow, Russia) with the productions: “Gray in the beard - a devil in the rib”, “Perfect Witness”, “The Irony of Love”, artists of the Luhansk Academic Musical Drama Theater named after M. Golubovich (“Crucified Youth”), as well as Smolensk Chamber Theater with the performances “The Marriage of Balsaminov” and “Christmas Dreams”.

- When we started this project, which has already become a tradition, 20-30 people ordered tickets, - says Svetlana Petrovich, the chairman of the commission for cultural and mass work of the employees' trade union committee. - For comparison, in March this year we ordered 237 tickets. In addition, on March 25, the artists of the Kolasovsky theater played a separate performance for us, our students and supervisors - “Sanya, Vanya i z imi Rymas”. And this is about 170 more spectators! So I can confidently say: no theater lover was left without his favorite productions this month.

 “This month I attended the play “The Parachutist”, filled with reflections and emotions about life “in the moment”, about the value of the present and about the game with death, which also turns out to be a woman capable of falling in love.....

An unusual philosophical performance, wonderful acting of the main characters and the favorite atmosphere of the Kolasovsky Theatre. I go to all premieres with great pleasure, thanks to VSMU for a month of theater!” - shared her impressions Natalia Alyakhnovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology with a course of FAT and PR.

“I enjoyed watching a lyrical comedy called “Perfect Witness”, which was presented in Vitebsk by theater and cinema artists (Moscow). It is a comedy, which through humor and jokes subtly brings to the viewer important meanings not only about the relationship between a man and a woman, but also about the relationship with oneself. Excellent performance, the actors' performance is on top! An interesting idea that makes you think about life.

The production we visited featured famous actors: Igor Livanov, Yulia Takshina, Pavel Barshak. Each of these actors is well known to the audience for their numerous roles in film and theater.
