On March 25, 2025, the Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov took part in the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Belarus in the Palace of Independence.

Alexey Chukanov: “Participation in the inauguration ceremony of the Head of State is a great honor and responsibility for me.

Today our country is entering a new era. Taking the oath of office by the Head of State is a landmark moment that determines the vector of Belarus' development for years to come. We are witnessing history, and each of us realizes the significance of this event.

Our President is not only a guarantor of stability and sovereignty, but also a leader who leads the country through any challenges of time. Thanks to his far-sighted policy, we are preserving peace, social justice and dynamic development in all spheres - from economy and science to culture and international cooperation.
