On March 18-21, 2025, in Minsk on the basis of the State Institution “Multidisciplinary Cultural and Sports Complex ‘Minsk-Arena’ badminton competitions were held within the framework of the Republican Universiade-2024/2025.

The team of VSMU showed a worthy result, taking the 8th place among 24 teams of higher education establishments of the Republic of Belarus.

Our team included: Ifzal Irshad (4 FOST), Kanishk Ratnakumar (4 FOST), Ruvini Kapuruge (3 FOST), Nanayakkara Himandhi (3 FOST).
