From March 20 to March 21, 2025, in the First St. Petersburg State Medical University named after academician I.P. Pavlov XXXI All-Russian Conference of Young Scientists with International Participation “Actual Problems of Biomedicine - 2025” took place. The students of the 3rd year of medical faculty Kushchin M.K. and Ladik N.O. made a report “Changes in the number of CD68+ and CX3CR1+ macrophages in progressive liver fibrosis” (supervisor – the assistant professor of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology Lebedeva E.I.).

The scientific work at the section “Actual problems of histology” took the first place and was recognized as one of the best among the works of young scientists of the Russian Federation and CIS countries.

The Director of Scientific and Educational Institute of Biomedicine of Pavlov University Professor T.D. Vlasov and the Head of the Department of Histology, Cytology and Embryology T.V. Pavlova noted the high level of research work and special training of the students of our university.
