March 11, 2025, in the large hall of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee a meeting of the board on the theme: “On the results of the work of health care organizations of Vitebsk region in 2024 and the main directions of activity in 2025” was held .

The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Boris Androsiuk, the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Vyacheslav Durnov, the representatives of city and district administrations, as well as regional public organizations.

The Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University Aleksei Chukanov and the First Vice-rector of the university Alina Shchupakova also took part in the meeting.

The meeting addressed a wide range of issues related to the development of the health care system in the region:

Mikhail Vishnevetsky, the Head of the Main Health Care Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, made a final report on the work of the health care system of Vitebsk region;

The sanitary and epidemiological situation in Vitebsk region in 2024 and tasks for 2025 was told by the Chief Doctor of the state institution “Vitebsk regional center of hygiene, epidemiology and public health”, the chief state sanitary doctor of Vitebsk region Sergei Konyshev;

The Rector of EE “Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University” Alexei Chukanov presented a report on the results of training at the university in 2024 and the tasks for 2025.

At the end of the event the awarding of the industry employees who achieved the best results of work in 2024 took place.
