On February, 24, the representatives of VSMU took part in the opening of the Regional Center for Preservation of Historical Memory on the basis of the park “Russia - My History” (Tver, Russian Federation).

Within the framework of the Center opening, the scientific and practical conference “We Remember! We are proud!” was held. It was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, where the innovative educational project ‘Large family - national wealth of Belarus’, VSMU youth for family values” and VSMU military-patriotic club ‘I serve the Fatherland’ were presented.

At the end of the conference there was a ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial complex “Smolensk War Grave” in Tver.

This large-scale event united the representatives of youth organizations and search movement from Russia and the Republic of Belarus, like-minded people in the implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at civic and patriotic education of youth, preservation and popularization of history and perpetuation of the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
