On February 21, 2025, the delegation of VSMU headed by the Rector Alexey Chukanov visited Mogilev Hospital №1, where an open dialog with young doctors took place on the basis of the branch of the Department of Infectious Diseases of VSMU.

The main purpose of the meeting was to assess the level of professional training of graduates, as well as to provide them with comprehensive support, including social and legal aspects.

The Rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov noted: “It is extremely important for us to keep in touch with our graduates at all stages of their professional development. We understand that the beginning of career is a responsible and difficult period, and we are ready to provide young specialists not only methodical but also organizational assistance. Today's meeting has confirmed that this format of dialog is in demand and allows us to promptly solve arising issues”.

During the discussion special attention was paid to the issues of internship, labor rights of young specialists, as well as adaptation in new teams. The participants had an opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed answers from representatives of the university administration.
