On February 7, 2025, the winter scientific and educational school “Scientific and Practical Aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology” has completed its work at Vitebsk State Medical University. It was held at the university from February 3 to 7.

During the week, students from medical universities of Belarus and Russia, under the guidance of experienced teachers of VSMU, were able to improve the level of theoretical and practical training, participated in performing endoscopic interventions, and analyzing clinical cases of patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.

Participation in the event allowed students to delve deeper into the pathogenetic mechanisms of disease development, evaluate their clinical manifestations and methods of further treatment. This will help determine the areas for student research projects, as well as improve the professional competencies of medical specialists.
