On January 24, 2025, a video conference was held between VSMU and the Royal Aesthetics Institute of Sri Lanka, a member of Alpha Health Group, whose offices are located in Sri Lanka and the UAE.

The Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits spoke about the activities and achievements of VSMU. The negotiations were also attended by the Head of the International Relations Office Elena Sharykhina and the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva.

During the negotiations the creation of a joint educational program in the specialty "General Medicine" was discussed. An agreement was reached to sign a cooperation agreement.
