On December 18, 2024, a "Job Fair" for graduate students of the medical faculty was held at VSMU.

The event was attended by the 13 organizations-customers of personnel from Vitebsk and the Vitebsk region: the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk City Central Polyclinic", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital", the head of the Healthcare Institution "Vitebsk Regional Clinical Pathoanatomical Bureau", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Rossony Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Novopolotsk Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Ushachy Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Braslav Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Shumilino Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Polotsk Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Novolukoml Central District Hospital", the chief physician of the Healthcare Institution "Verkhnedvinsk Central District Hospital", the deputy chief physician of the "Dubrovno Central District Hospital". The representatives of medical units of correctional institutions of the Republic of Belarus also took part in the event. The heads of healthcare organizations and medical units told the graduates about the structure and equipment of the healthcare institutions under their jurisdiction, as well as about the prospects for practical work for young specialists, and the possibility of further retraining. The speakers raised such issues as: salary levels, housing provision, compensation for renting housing, incentive payments to young specialists, etc. During the "Job Fair", the students had the opportunity to personally talk to potential employers and ask questions of interest, having received objective information about the proposed work.
