On December 18, 2024, a meeting was held between the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel N.B. Dorofeev, the Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work D.K. Kuzhel, the Dean of the medical faculty M.P. Fomina, the Deputy Deans Ya.O. Perevalov and O.A. Fedchuk, the Chairman of the primary trade union organization of students of VSMU N.S. Paramonov with the 1st-year students of the medical faculty on the prevention of extremism and terrorism.

The students received thematic memos, on the content of which the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel N.B. Dorofeev gave the necessary explanations and comments.

The meeting continued with a joint viewing of the investigative film "Children under the gun: recruited by the enemy".

The Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work D.K.Kuzhel noted the importance of observing the rules of information and cybersecurity.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine M.P.Fomina drew attention to the need for strict compliance with the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Ethical Code of Students.

The Chairman of the Students' Trade Union N.S. Paramonov spoke about the activities of the trade union to protect the socio-economic rights and legitimate interests of students.

The Representatives of the VSMU administration drew the students' attention to the need to be thoughtful and responsible in making decisions, to comply with current legislation and information security, and not to succumb to provocations and manipulation technologies.

The event turned out to be meaningful and interesting.
