On December 16, 2024, a meeting was held between the Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev, the Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work of the Faculty of Pharmacy Evgeny Shabunin with first-year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on the prevention of extremism and terrorism.

The Vice-Rector for Security, Regime and Personnel Nikolai Dorofeev acquainted the students with the main regulatory and legal acts of the Republic of Belarus in the field of countering terrorism and extremism. The students were given memos on the topic of the meeting. The Vice-Rector drew attention to the preventive measures carried out in the state and gave the necessary explanations and comments. The meeting continued with a joint viewing of the investigative film "Children under the gun: recruited by the enemy". Nikolay Borisovich emphasized that students need to be thoughtful and responsible in making decisions, comply with current legislation and information security, and not succumb to provocations and manipulation technologies.

The meeting was also attended by the chief specialist of the primary organization of the VSMU BRYU Danila Kharchenko, who told the students about the areas of work and current projects of BRSM.
