The Cinema House hosted a screening of one of the most anticipated films of the year - "Black Castle". The premiere of the film, which took place on December 12, 2024, was attended by the administration, staff and students of VSMU.

The visit to the film screening took place thanks to the support of the administration, the primary trade union organization of the university staff and students.

Before the film screening a mini-concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Belarusian cinema took place in the Cinema House. The VSMU student club team - the folk dance ensemble "Millennium" presented their creative number as part of the concert.

The historical detective story is based on the novel by Vladimir Karatkevich "Black Castle Olshansky" and popularizes the history of Belarus. In addition to the exciting plot viewers were able to enjoy the beauty of Belarusian nature and architecture. The filming took place not only in the Belarusfilm pavilions, but also in Mir Castle and other iconic places in our country.
