On December 6-7, 2024, a team of the 2nd-year students of the VSMU Faculty of Medicine took part in the IX International Student Olympiad in Morphology (Anatomy, Histology), which was held at the Novosibirsk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. VSMU was represented at the Olympiad by: Kopyl Alexander, Korneenko Maxim, Kulagin Vasily, Matveyev Daniil, Prikhodko Alexander, Tereshenok Stanislav, the team was accompanied by the Senior lecturer of the Department of Human Anatomy Ostrovskaya T.A.

17 teams from various regions of the Russian Federation gathered to test their knowledge.

The guys honorably overcame all the Olympiad tasks both individually and in the team competition. For the Homework competition, the VSMU team received a diploma "For the best business card". Based on the results of the Olympiad, the VSMU team was awarded a 2nd degree diploma.
