On December 9, 2024, within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Vitebsk State Medical University and Volgograd State Medical University, an online lecture on pediatrics was held for the students of the medical faculty of VSMU.

The head of the department of pediatric diseases of Volgograd State Medical University, Professor Mikhail Yakovlevich Ledyaev, gave a lecture on "Life-threatening arrhythmias in children" to the 4th, 5th and 6th year students of the medical faculty.

Mikhail Yakovlevich highlighted the modern view on the main etiopathogenetic factors in the development of arrhythmias in infants and young children, the features of the clinical picture and modern diagnostic and therapeutic options.

The students listened to this lecture with great interest and also asked questions of interest to them.
