On December 6, 2024, the VSMU delegation took part in the Republican scientific and practical conference with international participation "Healthcare: global challenges and threats. Assessment of medical technologies", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of N.A. Semashko and the 100th anniversary of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare.

A report was presented in co-authorship by the Rector of VSMU Chukanov A.N., the First Vice-rector Shchupakova A.N., the Vice-rector for international relations and organizational and legal work Litsa D.N., the Head of the Department of Healthcare with the course of FAT and PR, professor Glushanko V.S. "History and modernity over 90 years of the formation and development of the university".

The forum discussed current aspects of public health and healthcare organization in Belarus and Russia. The delegation of VSMU included the Head of the department, professor Glushanko V.S. and Senior Lecturer Orekhova L.I., who addressed the department and BSMU with greetings.
