On December 5, 2024, the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic hosted a military-patriotic song contest-concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the 3rd anniversary of the formation of the military-patriotic Club of VSMU "I Serve the Fatherland".

Students of all courses and faculties, university staff and their family members took part in the contest.

The contest is held with the aim of forming and developing patriotic feelings in students and university staff, preserving historical memory and strengthening the connection between generations. And it worked!

The hall was filled not only with the sounds of melodies and the words of songs and poems, but also with the energy of love for the Motherland, sincere emotions of the contestants.

It was very difficult to choose the winners, many noted the increased skill level of the contestants. Nevertheless, the jury made its choice.

1st Degree Diploma — Kirill Novik, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Dentistry;

2nd Degree Diploma — Pavel Yerashov, the senior lecturer of the Department of General Surgery; Anastasia Klepik, the 6th year student of the Faculty of Medicine;

3rd Degree Diploma — Elena Nemshon, the 4th year student of the Faculty of Medicine; Polina Bukataya, the 1st year student of the Faculty of Medicine; Olga Azarenko, the 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine;

Audience Award — Denis Murin, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine;

Diploma for the Best Debut — Angelina Vinnikova, the 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine;

Diploma for the Best Duet — Evelina Stryukova and Kirill Novik, the 4th year students of the Pediatric and the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Dentistry;

Diploma "Young Talents" - Golubeva Maryana and Arina.
