On November 5, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Chief of the International Relations Office Elena Sharykhina, the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva held talks with the leadership of the Huanggang Polytechnic Institute (People's Republic of China), which houses faculties for training specialists in the field of medicine.

Denis Nikolaevich gave a presentation about VSMU, told the guests about the capabilities and potential of the university.

During the negotiations, the issues of training Chinese citizens at VSMU in the specialist and master's programs, and the creation of joint educational programs were discussed. The representatives of the Chinese institute noted the vast experience of VSMU in the field of training medical personnel for abroad, the prestige and high level of the university, and expressed their readiness for cooperation, which will significantly increase the level of qualifications and have a positive impact on the future career of Chinese students.

The meeting resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement between VSMU and Huanggang Polytechnic Institute.
