On October 23, 2024, the regular meeting of the University Council was held, at which an analysis of academic performance, class attendance and student expulsion based on the results of the summer session of the 2023/2024 academic year was presented, the results of the work were considered and the prospects for the development of the simulation and certification center were determined, the new composition of the University Council was approved, and the candidacies of employees for awarding the commemorative medal "For Merits in the Development of VSMU" and assigning the honorary title "Veteran of Labor of VSMU" were presented.

The Chairman of the University Council, Aleksey Chukanov, presented the following: a certificate of associate professor to Irina Ogrizko; commemorative badges "Veteran of Labor of VSMU" to Elena Poplavets, Svetlana Lazuko, Alexandra Baranovskaya, Sergey Pimanov, Gennady Grenkov, Margarita Orlova. The following students received diplomas of the winners of the competition for the best student research group: the Student Research Group of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry; the Student Research Group of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry with the course of FAT and PR; the Student Research Group of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology; the Student Research Group of the Military Department; the Student Research Group of the Department of Pathological Physiology.
