On October 8, 2024, the Vitebsk intergenerational forum "Mental health of people 65+ in the 21st century" was held at the State Institution "Vitebsk Social Boarding House "Na Dvina", organized with the support of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, VSMU, the Religious Mission "Charitable Catholic Society Caritas" of the Vitebsk Diocese and the United Nations Fund (UNFPA) in Belarus.

Experts from Belarus, Russia and Serbia shared their knowledge about the problem of people with dementia, which has become a very common syndrome.

Speakers from VSMU were: the Head of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation with the FAT and PR course, the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor T.L. Olenskaya (in an online format), the Senior Lecturer of the Department A.A. Valuy and the Trainee Lecturer of the Department A.I. Kovalenko.

Volunteer students of Vitebsk State Medical University also took part in the forum.
