As part of the events of the "Freshman Month" at VSMU on September 11, 2024, a dialogue platform was held with the first-year students of the pharmaceutical faculty with the participation of the operative officer of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk, the department for combating cybercrimes, Berezovskaya K.S. on the issue of combating cybercrimes and preventing offenses.

During the event, students were introduced to modern threats in cyberspace, with the rules of conduct on the Internet, allowing them to avoid falling under the influence of various tricks of fraudsters, and the most pressing aspects of information protection were also discussed.
