On July 29, 2024, as part of the visit to Vitebsk of the delegation of representatives of higher educational establishments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a working meeting between the Vice-Rector of International Affairs and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Nikolaevich Lits with the participation of employees of the Department of International and Interregional Relations with employees of the Medical Faculty of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute represented by the Head of the Chair of General Medicine Turakulov Vali Norkulovich and the Assistant of the Chair of General Medicine Berbekulov Zhavlonbek was held.

The prospects for cooperation between the universities in the form of academic exchanges of staff and students, participation in scientific events held at VSMU and Navoi State Pedagogical Institute, etc were discussed at the meeting. An agreement to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation was reached.
