From July 1 to July 12, 2024, 10 students of the 4^th and the 5^th years of the Faculty of Medicine of VSMU underwent practical training in surgery and therapy at Astana Medical University’s Green Clinic. Our students were accompanied by Sergei Fedyanin, associate professor of the Chair of Hospital Surgery with a course of FAT and SR.

Students worked in the operating room, dressing room, and took part in outpatient visits to patients. Excursions to the university museum and simulation center were organized.

Sergey Fedyanin attended a master class on bariatric surgery. Experience was exchanged with colleagues. Colleagues from Astana Medical University gave a very high rating to our country and university. The developments of VSMU in infection control, transplantation, and regenerative medicine are of great interest with the possibility of implementing joint projects in the future.
