From July 8 to July 19, 2024, six 4th year students of the Faculty of Medicine of VSMU are undergoing internship in the city of Pskov at the Pskov City Clinic. Each of our students is actively involved in the work of general practitioners and specialists.

As Alexander Ivanov, a student at the Faculty of Medicine at VSMU, noted: “This practice allows you to better understand your future profession, as well as compare the organization of outpatient services in Belarus and Russia.”

VSMU student Anastasia Gur: “The clinic’s doctors are happy to explain the nuances of their work, answer questions that arise and inspire people to become better in their professional path.”

Our students note the hospitality of Pskov residents. In their free time, the group gets to know the beautiful ancient city, visiting iconic places.

The exchange participants express their gratitude to the administration of VSMU for the opportunity to participate in the academic mobility program, as well as the department of academic mobility of Pskov State University for a diverse educational program, and the head of the Department of Clinical Medicine of Pskov State University Natalya Vladimirovna Ivanova for the warm welcome.
