From June 3 to June 7, 2024, the Faculty of Pre-University Training of VSMU together with the Faculty of Pediatrics held the Week of the Faculty of Pediatrics, timed to coincide with the International Children's Day in order to attract applicants to the specialty "Pediatrics", within the framework of which the following events were held: excursions for students of general secondary educational establishments to the Vitebsk Regional Specialized Children's Home and the campaign "Clean Hands - the Key to Health" in the preschool educational establishment under the guidance of the head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 1 Elena Kosenkova; a master class on newborn resuscitation under the guidance of the head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 Lyudmila Zhuravleva; a round table "Let's Talk About the Profession of a Pediatrician" with the Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics Tatyana Ryabova.

Videos, presentations and posters on the topic of pediatrics, presented by the university-wide health and healthy lifestyle office, were posted on the VSMU website, as well as a quiz where each applicant could answer pediatric questions online.

There was increased interest in all events and a lot of positive feedback was received from participants.
