Press release of the republican scientific and practical conference with international participation “Current issues in pediatric practice”, dedicated to the memory of Professor I.M. Lysenko (May 23, 2024)

On May 23, 2024, at the educational establishment "Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University" at the address: lecture hall No. 8 of VSMU and the assembly hall of the Health care institution «Vitebsk Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital», Vitebsk, Shradera str., 7, a republican scientific and practical conference “Current issues of pediatric practice” will be held in person and online format, dedicated to the memory of Professor I.M. Lysenko.

Objectives of the conference: increasing the level of knowledge of doctors about modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of childhood diseases, sharing scientific and practical experience, improving ideas about an interdisciplinary approach in the prevention and treatment of diseases in children.

The conference is planned to discuss: modern problems of pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the most common pathology among newborns and children of different age groups, innovative approaches to teaching pediatrics in higher educational establishments.

It is planned to conduct three sections: neonatal and two pediatric. Pediatric doctors, pediatric anesthesiologists and resuscitators, general practitioners, clinical pharmacologists, interns, as well as students, clinical residents, graduate students and doctoral students are invited to participate in the conference.

Leading specialists from the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation will make presentations. The best reports will be published in the journal “Protection of Motherhood and Childhood”.
