On April 25, 2024, at Vitebsk State Medical University and healthcare institutions, the 76th scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists with international participation, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the university “Topical issues of modern medicine and pharmacy,” was held.

During the conference, work took place in 16 sections, over 180 reports were presented, reflecting modern trends in theoretical and practical medicine and pharmacy.

Within the framework of the conference, a subsection with reports in English “Public health and healthcare” was held. The presented reports were devoted to current areas of healthcare in Belarus, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and Bangladesh and were received with great interest by the audience.

The results of their scientific work were presented by students and young scientists of VSMU, as well as educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation (Astrakhan, Moscow, Samara, Ryazan).
