On April 2, 2024, a solemn Council was held at the Vitebsk State Medical University dedicated to the awarding the winners of the university Olympiads in the academic subjects “Biology” and “Chemistry”, who have the right to be admitted to the university without entrance examinations.

The Rector of the university Alexei Chukanov made a welcoming speech, congratulated the winners  and also presented them with diplomas and souvenirs. Congratulatory words were also addressed to the winners by: the Dean of the Preparatory Department Elena Gusakova, the Head of the Department of Medical Biology and General Genetics Professor Vladislav Bekish, the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Vyacheslav Prishchepenko, the winner of the VSMU-2023 University Olympiad in the subject “Biology” Artyom Torop, the VSMU delegate to participate in the World Youth Festival in Sochi-2024 Maxim Budnitsky.

At the end of the event, the Tandem pop song studio performed the song “The Best University in the World.”

Once again we congratulate the winners, we will be glad to see VSMU students among them!
