On March 28, 2024, at the Vitebsk State Medical University, a meeting was held between the Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Valeryevich Khodzhaev, and the chief doctors of health care institutions in the Vitebsk region.

During the meeting, issues related to the development of healthcare in the region were discussed: distribution of young specialists; measures to improve the quality of medical care and increase its efficiency.
