The most elegant and sophisticated event in the program of the festival “Student Autumn of VSMU-2023” is, undoubtedly, the Autumn Ball.

On November 27, 2023, more than 50 couples took to the floor in the Vitebsk Concert Hall to dance to the sounds of a graceful waltz, a leisurely polonaise and a playful quadrille. The evening was opened by the rector of the university Alexey Chukanov wishing those gathered to have a fun and interesting time.

In addition to dancing, games were an integral part of the balls. And that evening the couples gladly joined the game “Chairs”: the girls danced in a circle and as soon as the music died down, each had to stand in front of their partner. The one who did not have enough partner was eliminated. The fight was serious! The participants were also offered the games “Stream”, “Rose” and “Ladushki”.

While the couples were resting between dances, creative groups of the VSMU student club performed for those present: the sports ballroom dance ensemble “Quickstep”, the folk dance group “Millennium”, the pop song studio “Tandem”, the modern choreography group “Expression”.

The evening ended with tea drinking and dancing to beautiful classics at a free tempo.
