During the “Week of Equal Opportunities”, the chairman of the “Belarusian Union of Women” of VSMU, Elena Sharykhina, took part in a charity event on November 18, 2023, organized by the educational establishment “Vitebsk  State Academy of Veterinary Medicine” entitled “Give hope and acquire it yourself "

As part of the event an exhibition of creative works and a theatrical performance performed by students of the “Island of Hope” club of the city Center for Additional Education for Children and Youth, where children with special needs of psychophysical development are trained, were organized.

The atmosphere of celebration and creative fireworks filled the auditorium!

Similar meetings are held annually, the baton for holding a charity meeting with students of the Island of Hope club in 2024 was solemnly handed over to VSMU.

At the end of the meeting the participants were presented with memorable gifts and refreshments.
