On November 16, 2023, the Republican Palace of Culture of Trade Unions hosted a solemn celebration of scholarship holders of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers. Vyacheslav Shylo, Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers, presented the scholarship certificates to the twenty best future doctors, noting that the trade union will always support and encourage active and purposeful students.

From Vitebsk State Medical University the scholarship of the Republican Committee for successes in educational, scientific and social activities was received by the student of the 6th year of medical faculty Kiselev Daniil - proformer of the 6th year, member of the organizational and mass commission of the trade union committee of students of VSMU, winner of the trade union scholarship of Vitebsk regional committee of the Belarusian trade union of health workers" (February 2021-2022 academic year). Daniel is a member of the intellectual club "Eskulap", the author of four scientific publications in scientific collections of VSMU, one publication in the scientific collection of BSMU and three publications abroad. One scientific work received the I category at the republican competition of scientific works. The main sphere of scientific interests is thoracic surgery and purulent diseases of the spine. During the first wave of COVID-19 in the summer of 2020 Kiselev Daniil worked as an orderly of the traveling brigade of "Mogilev city station of emergency medical aid" in practical healthcare. In the summer of 2021 he worked as a nurse of "CEH".

During the day the scholarship holders could get acquainted with the museum of the history of trade union movement of the Republic of Belarus, visit the exhibition "The Country of Mini", where the main sights of our beloved homeland are presented in miniature. At the end of the day all the students left in a great mood with an even greater desire to study and work for the benefit of our country and trade union movement.
