On October 27, 2023, the Plenary meeting of the XXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Student Medical Science of the 21st Century” was held in the conference hall of the main educational building of VSMU.

The plenary session was attended by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Elena Asiryan, the head of the SSS Angelina Kuzmenkova, the university teaching staff, and the winners of the conference.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Elena Asiryan opened the plenary session with words of gratitude and value that we have in the person of scientific leaders. Thanks to them, we can now be proud of the students’ work presented at section meetings. The work and inspiration of the scientific activities of all the students who spoke were noted.

Based on the results of all sections, the presidium highlighted 2 best reports: Evgenia Tyagusheva, the 4th year student, specialty pediatrics, National Research Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev and Elena Levkovich, the 6th year student of the pediatric faculty of the Belarusian State Medical University. Well-deserved prizes - diplomas of the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd degrees were awarded to more than 100 students who are taking their first and confident steps in science, as well as to the conference participants who annually demonstrate their success in scientific activities.
