On October 26-27, 2023, the delegation of VSMU consisting of the head of the department of general dentistry with a course of orthopedic dentistry, TTC and ATC Eduard Machkalyan, Sardar Farkhadzade and Stanislav Semukov; the Associate Professor of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry with a course of TTC and ATC Anna Goncharova took part in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Technologies of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation”. During the event, the representatives of the Department of General Dentistry with a course in Orthopedic Dentistry demonstrated the practical skills that students of the Faculty of Dentistry learn and provided an opportunity for students of other universities and specialties to try themselves as a dentist.

Anna Goncharova, at the section “Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation as an Investment in the Healthy Future of an Athlete,” made a report “The use of kinesiotaping in the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients after atypical removal of a wisdom tooth in the lower jaw,” and answered questions that arose after the presentation of the report.
