From October 11, 2023, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus announced a competition of anti-drug posters “Say NO to Drugs!” Employees of government institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Health, health care organizations, as well as students of educational establishments receiving higher medical education can take part in the competition.

The goal of the competition is to develop among the population, including young people, a negative attitude towards the use and distribution of narcotic drugs and psychoactive substances, a value-based attitude towards their own health and a culture of a healthy and safe lifestyle. This competition will allow you to realize the creative abilities and potential of medical workers, to involve students, students and listeners into current healthcare topics.

PROCEDURE AND TIMELINES FOR ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING THE COMPETITION

Participants of the competition develop a thematic poster. The poster must necessarily contain a thematic slogan.

Acceptance of finished works from participants from October 11 to November 10, 2023.

Finished works (poster) with the information about the author (form attached) are sent to the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Mental Health" at the address: 220080, Minsk, Dolginovsky Trakt, 152, or delivered to the reception of the director of the State Institution "Republican Scientific and Practical Center mental health center.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN OF CREATIVE WORKS

The poster must be made on paper of at least A2 format. The work (poster) should be aimed at preventing drug addiction, developing among the population, including young people, a conscious attitude towards categorical rejection of the use and distribution of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. When preparing a poster, graphic stamps of cigarettes, syringes, drugs, bottles, images of death, etc. are not allowed. Both photographs and drawings can be used, including those made using computer technology, summarizing the ideological and thematic component of the poster.

The winners of the Competition are awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. The best works, selected by the expert council, can be used for placement on advertising structures in cities as social advertising, subject to agreement in the manner prescribed by law.
