On October 18, 2023, in the hostel No. 5 of VSMU, a meeting-dialogue between VSMU students and the head of the diaconal center of the Vitebsk diocese, Inna Vladimirovna Kostyukovich, took place on the topic “Family. Family Values” dedicated to the Week of Parental Love. The meeting was held within the framework of the cooperation plan between VSMU and the Vitebsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church in the field of spiritual, moral, family education, crime prevention among youth and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.

During the meeting, issues of preserving and strengthening family values, spiritual, mental, physical health, preventing self-destructive behavior, forming a system of life values, views and attitudes that prevent involvement in the use of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco were discussed.

Such events have become traditional at the university; they arouse interest among students. In their answers, students demonstrated knowledge in matters of building happy relationships, personality formation and creating a family.
