On October 17, 2023, the chairman of the Primary organization of the public association "Belarusian Union of Women" of Vitebsk State Medical University Elena Sharykhina and the activist of the youth wing of the PA "BUW" VSMU, chaired by Daria Belyaeva, took part in the round table "What a woman should know about cancer" on the basis of Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Oncology and Medical Radiology named after. N.N. Alexandrova.

During the visit, the organizers conducted a tour of the structural divisions of the center. The Republican Center for Positron Emission Tomography and the Republican Molecular Genetics Laboratory of Carcinogenesis aroused particular interest among the VSMU delegation.

This event served to strengthen friendly and business ties between institutions and develop fruitful cooperation in scientific and social activities.
