Dear Colleagues! I sincerely wish that thanks to the knowledge acquired at the university VSMU students will be able to achieve success and benefit our country!

On September 28, on the eve of the International Day of the Elderly, activists of the primary trade union organization of VSMU employees and students, together with the university administration, congratulated VSMU veterans, prisoners of the Great Patriotic War and presented them gifts.

From September 25 to September 29, 2023 at the university the «Week of Vision Zero» is held.

The purpose of the «Week of Vision Zero» is to ensure the safety and health of workers at the workplace, prevent cases of industrial injuries at the university, aimed at rapid detection of violations of labour protection standards and development and application of measures to eliminate them.

On September 28, on the eve of Teacher's Day, a solemn event at the Palace of the Republic was held, in which the delegation from VSMU took part. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko conveyed congratulations from the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and emphasized the important role of the teacher in life and formation of every citizen's personality.

On September 27, at the VSTU stadium, an athletics cross race was held as part of the Spartakiad program of the HEI in Vitebsk.

The VSMU team participated in this sports competition, where it took the 3rd team place.

Congratulations to our athletes and team coach Sergei Maslak, senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education, on their successful performance at the competition!
