On November 17, 2022, VSMU hosted a mega show, for which everyone was preparing and waiting for so long. Nine courageous, talented, creative, charismatic young men from different faculties of the university competed for the title of “Mr. VSMU – 2022”. That evening, the hall was filled with a hot atmosphere. The audience did not hide their emotions: supporting the participants, they were singing and dancing.

A discussion on the student life of foreign students was held on Tuesday the 8th of November, at the interclub of Hostel No:1. It was conducted by the journalists of the local TV channel “Belarus-1” from Minsk, lead by Svetlana Borovskaya the host.

A few students representing India, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Turkmenistan and Lebanon clad in their traditional costumes took part in the programme, whilst Sinduja and Bhanuja from Sri lanka performed an eye-catching traditional dance. The discussion was followed by a showcase of their traditional sweetmeats which the guests thoroughly enjoyed.

The Diwali celebrations organised by the Indian Medical Students’ Union was held on 6^th of November 2022 at Restaurant. Cultural Dean Maria Alexeevna, Dinesh Nithiyanandadeva, students from Indian and Srilankan students’ Union and many others were present in the function.

On October 31, 2022, there was the “International Evening of Friendship and National Cultures” which was organized by the Trade Union Organization of Students of VSMU, together with the Dean's Office of the Overseas Students Training Faculty of VSMU as part of the festival of medical students “Student Autumn of VSMU – 2022”.

Dilwai Kalai Vizha organised by the Medical Stidents Hindu Society of SLMSU was held on 29th of October 2022 at the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers. Cultural Dean Maria Alexeevna, Lubov Orekhova – Department of Public Health, Dr.Denesh Nithiyanandadeva, students from Srilankan and Indian communities as well as form different nationalities were present there for the event.

The event started with lightning of the oil lamp. The special invitees were called upon the stage to light the traditional oil lamp. After that the welcome speech was given by the committee members of the Hindu Society. There were many colourful events such as dance items, solo and group singing, showcasing of traditional and fusion items were performed by various groups of Sri Lankan students community and Indian students community. As usual Mixfeeds and Thakalis gave notable great performances.
