On June 1-2, 2024, the Vitebsk Open Badminton Cup among men and women was held in the large sports hall of VSMU. The students and staff of our university took an active part in these competitions.

On May 31, 2024, a dialogue platform was held for the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Dentistry on the topic “Genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War” with the participation of the Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of the Execution of Legislation in the Prosecutor’s Office of the Vitebsk Region, Senior Adviser of Justice I.V. Metelitsa.

Igor Vladimirovich informed those present about the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War and answered students’ questions.

At the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language the diplomas, certificates and gift souvenirs were solemnly presented to FOST students of the 1st and 2nd courses for achieving high results and worthy representation of our university at the XII Republican Competition (Olympiad) in the Russian language for foreign students studying at the universities of the Republic of Belarus.

On May 29, 2024, the final methodological association of the curators of the university’s study groups took place. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department for Supervision of the Execution of Legislation in the Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk Region, Senior Adviser of Justice I.V. Metelitsa, who briefed those present on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War.

According to the tradition that has developed at VSMU, the international event “Farewell-2024” (“Good journey, graduates of 2024!”) was held, organized by Sri Lankan students.

The event was held in a friendly atmosphere with fiery dancing, numerous competitions and musical performances. And interesting video clips reminded the children of the bright moments of their six years of study at VSMU.
