On 15 May the annual event - a farewell party with graduates - was held at 's restaurant "У Ганны". This year it was called "Hasta La Vista".

Traditionally, this celebration is organised for the graduates ("Cavaliers" team) by the 4th year students ("Genesis" team) of the Sri Lankan Union VSMU. It was attended by deputy dean of the faculty of overseas students training M.A.Senkovich and professor V.S.Glushanko, supervisor of Sri Lankan students.

The annual cricket tournament 'Vitebsk Premier League-2022' organised by the Sri Lankan Union VSMU recently concluded at the Vitebsk Technical College ground. 

The exciting tournament was held for 3 weeks despite the weather conditions. It was attended by 8 teams of boys and 8 teams of girls studying at VSMU.

8 teams took part in badminton competitions in the program of the Spartakiad among the teams of dormitories of institutions of secondary specialized and higher education in the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

The VSMU team consisting of Palihena Yeshani Udayana (5^th year, Faculty of Overseas Students Training) and Minura Wijesena Ransika (4^th year, Faculty of Overseas Students Training), took 1st place (coach – Getmonov Artyom Vladimirovich).

On April 27, 2022, an exhibition and concert programme "Spring colours of the world", the most awaited Celebration of the faculty of overseas students training, at the University Concert Hall. These events were celebrated after 2 years due to the Covid-19 Restrictions.

As part of the festival “Student Spring of VSMU – 2022” there was a brain ring called “We Are Ready and Set to Go!” which was held at the university on April 25, 2022. Belarusian and international students of the General Medicine, Stomatological, and Pharmaceutical Faculties of first-fifth years took part in it. The event was held in both Russian and English languages. Questions of various subjects were prepared for the teams. Brain ring consisted of 3 rounds.

The winner of the event was the “Brawlers” team, the second place went to the “Launde Baaz” team.
