On September 28, on the eve of Teacher's Day, a solemn event at the Palace of the Republic was held, in which the delegation from VSMU took part. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko conveyed congratulations from the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and emphasized the important role of the teacher in life and formation of every citizen's personality.

On September 27, at the VSTU stadium, an athletics cross race was held as part of the Spartakiad program of the HEI in Vitebsk.

The VSMU team participated in this sports competition, where it took the 3rd team place.

On September 28, as part of the Week of Prevention of Drug Distribution, Psychoactive Substance Use among Youth “Make the Right Choice” and the Safety Week, a dialogue platform was held at VSMU on the topic “Legal, social and medical consequences of drug use. Criminal and administrative liability for illegal drug trafficking and use.”

On September 28, in the framework of the Safety Week in VSMU and the Unified Road Safety Day, students of the 2nd course of the medical faculty met with the State Inspector of the Department of Technical Supervision and Prevention of the Traffic Ministry of the Department of Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee M.A.Isofatova on the topics «On the prevention of road accidents», «Accident prevention using personal mobility devices», “Reflective elements”.

On the eve of Teacher's Day, the Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Training of VSMU, Elena Anatolyevna Gusakova, was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the administration of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk for conscientious and fruitful work in the state health care system, high professionalism, and great contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists.
