On September 19, 2024, a meeting was held between the first-year students of VSMU, living in dormitories No. 4, 5, 7, 8, and the senior district juvenile affairs inspector of the Oktyabrsky district administration of Vitebsk, police major Ekaterina Kurnevich, on the topic "Responsibility of minors for committing offenses." During the conversation the students were explained the main provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.

On September 18, 2024, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Organizational and Legal Work Denis Lits, the Chief of the International Relations Directorate Elena Sharykhina, the Head of the International Relations Department Anna Pchelintseva met with the students of the partner university Volgograd State Medical University Lidiya Solovieva and Elina Eremina, who will study at our university for a semester as part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between VSMU and VolgSMU.

In order to improve the quality of training in internship  the administration of Vitebsk State Medical University regularly conducts visits to internship bases and meetings with the administration of healthcare institutions, mentors, young specialists and interns.

Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University was awarded with Gratitude from the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin "For active participation in organizing and holding the events of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia".

On September 16, 2024, a meeting was held between VSMU Rector Alexey Chukanov and student volunteers, during which Alexey Nikolaevich thanked the students for their active participation in ensuring the work of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.
