On December 14, 2023, a dialogue platform was held at Vitebsk State Medical University with the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Medicine, dedicated to the electoral system of the Republic of Belarus and the single voting day. Speakers of the dialogue platform, the Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Boltrushevich and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Educational Work Olga Fedchuk told the children about the features, technical, substantive, legal aspects of the upcoming single voting day.

Dialogue platform “Electoral system of the Republic of Belarus. Unified Voting Day” was held on December 15, 2023, at VSMU.

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Educational Work of VSMU Natalya Boltrushevich, the Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities Svyatoslav Kulik, the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities Natalya Semenova, the 1st year students of the Faculty of Medicine.

Basketball competitions among the teams of the VSMU of the Sri Lankan community were held on December 16-17, 2023, in the playing sports hall of the CSK “Vitebsk”. Among the men - the Interns team won, and among the women - the Stallions team won the champion's cup.

In preparation for the single voting day, in order to widely popularize and inform students and the staff of VSMU, the department for educational work with youth has prepared a mobile interactive exhibition “SINGLE VOTEING DAY”.

On December 14, 2023, in hostel No. 7, a meeting-dialogue between VSMU students and the head of the diaconal center of the Vitebsk Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, Inna Kostyukovich, took place on the topic “Luke Voino-Yasenetsky - scientist, surgeon, saint.” During the meeting a film about the life and work of Luka Voino-Yasenetsky was shown. The speech by the head of the Diaconal Center was dedicated to the spiritual and moral education of future doctors using the example of the lives of outstanding scientists.

The meeting participants noted the great importance of spiritual, moral and civic-patriotic education, the authority and significant role of doctors in society.
