Department of Russian and Belarusian Languages (FOGPT)

The activities of Chair of Russian and Belarusian Languages of Faculty of Occupational Guidance and Pre-university Training are organized in the following directions:

- preparing students of Faculty of Occupational Guidance and Pre-university Training (FOGPT) for successfully passing centralized testing in the Russian and Belarusian languages for the purpose of admission to Vitebsk State Medical University or other universities of the republic;

- development and creation of educational and methodological as well as electronic complexes for FOGPT students of all forms of education, foreign students of Stomatological Faculty in order to ensure a lasting assimilation of educational material and the implementation of an individual approach to the organization of cognitive activity;

- carrying out educational and ideological work with FOGPT students and foreign students of 1-3 years of Stomatological Faculty;

- professional guidance for students, provision of methodological and advisory assistance to teachers and students of secondary schools, gymnasiums in Vitebsk and Vitebsk region;

- work with the 1^st year students of Pharmaceutical, General Medicine, Pediatric and Stomatological Faculties. Within the framework of this direction, the discipline “Belarusian language: professional vocabulary” is taught;

- work with foreign students of 1-3 years of Stomatological Faculty and foreign students of FOGPT. Within the framework of this direction, the discipline “Russian as a Foreign Language” is taught.
